Isotex construction system consists of formwork blocks and slabs made of mineralised wood and cement. One of its main benefits is that with just one quick and easy laying step, the Isotex building system replaces the beam and pillar structure, infill walling and external cladding: the blocks are filled with concrete and have vertical and horizontal reinforcements and insulation is already inserted inside the formwork block.
This halves the construction time of the structure and, consequently, the costs, reducing the need for labour (no specialised workers needed). The special blocks provide a perfectly homogeneous structure in terms of earthquake resistance, thermal, and acoustic resistance, fire resistance, and respect for environmental sustainability and the principle of circular economy. All these technical characteristics are certified by accredited universities and laboratories, in full compliance with all current regulations.

The Isotex plant is located in the province of Reggio Emilia, in Poviglio. A single center where different souls convene: production, research and development, customer management, pre- and after-sales service. And much more. The company has a staff of more than 100 employees and agents who cover the whole of Europe and the world extensively.
The surface area of the entire plant is around 60,000 square meters, the production complex is about 7,000 square meters, and a third production unit of an additional 3,000 square meters was recently built. This is completed by a 500 sq m office building.
A hub that – given its large size – allows for a wide assortment of products, blocks and slabs. This guarantees, at all times, prompt and timely delivery and full compliance with timelines. An important commitment to our customers.
Our construction technology
Production is carried out entirely in our factory in Poviglio (RE). Fully automated and tested production facilities guarantee consistent quality and quantity. Our quality managers, using the various equipment in our company laboratory, guarantee the absolute quality and precision of our products.
All this means we successfully pass the annual certification body inspections to renew certification for our production and organisational processes.

What materials do we use for our products
Top-quality raw materials are used in the manufacture of all Isotex products: 100% recycled untreated fir wood, cement, iron oxide, and water to achieve a healthy product free of additives and chemicals. The wood is mineralized with a natural mineral, which makes it inert therefore resistant to fire, weathering, mold and pests.
Much importance is given to the quality, sustainability and precision of measurements of the insulating materials we introduce into the mould block (BASF‘s Neopor® BMBcert).
