Sustainable architecture and ecology are fundamental aspects for Isotex. All Isotex products are designed following the principles of green building: natural and quality raw materials, a production process with low ecological impact to obtain a product that promotes energy savings and improves the quality of living; reducing noise pollution and the onset of condensation and mould, harmful to the micro-climate inside homes and therefore to human health. Isotex is accredited by ANAB/ICEA (Italian National Association for Green Construction) and is subject to regular and rigorous checks by the certifying body ICEA for the issuance of green construction material certificates.
ISOTEX pays utmost attention to environmental protection, health and safety of people in all phases connected to the production process. Isotex Srl is the first European manufacturer of wood cement that has certified its entire range of products with a type III EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) specific to each product, validated by an independent third party.
Green buildings: low emissions, high energy performance
Isotex buildings are environmentally friendly and have high eco-efficiency performance (NZEB-ZEB-Class A4). They always comply with MEC requirements, are certified for green building, have passed the VOC test and, thanks to BASF’s Neopor BMBcert eco-sustainable insulation inserts, guarantee a 42% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional insulation.
Compliance with MEC REQUIREMENTS
Isotex guarantees full compliance with MEC requirements (Minimum Environmental Criteria) as all products are made with natural and quality materials. Isotex has also obtained ANAB/ICEA green building certification, type III EPD and ReMade in Italy certificate for BASF’s Neopor BMBcert insulation inserts.
EPD certification for the entire Isotex range
Isotex has obtained the Environmental Product Declaration EPD type III. A statement that clearly and transparently informs the environmental impact of a given product. Isotex has become the first manufacturer of wood cement in Europe to certify its entire range of products, with a specific EPD for each individual product, necessary above all for public contracts.
