Floor slabs

The ISOTEX cement-bonded wood fibre panel system for highly thermo-acoustic insulated horizontal or inclined structures consists of pre-assembled 100 cm x 20/25/30/39 panels of lengths up to 6.5-7 m, with horizontal and vertical cavities to eliminate thermal and acoustic bridges, reinforcing rods and concrete filling.
The flooring system is completed on site with reinforcing rods, partitioning wire mesh and concrete casting.

With 60 years of experience in the use of cement-bonded wood fibre structural walling blocks, Isotex Srl also realizes elements for the horizontal structures and flooring. The aim is to solve, more effectively than any other method and with a single installation, issues concerning the complete elimination of all thermal and acoustic bridges, fire resistance and thermal and acoustic insulation.

Floor slabs installation

The lattice is designed to allow lifting and ensure completion of the casting in absolute safety, in particular:

1) In the lifting phase under its own weight, suspended at two points of L/4 from the ends.
2) In the casting stage on supports distanced by 170 cm, and under its own weight and the weight of the fluid concrete.

The reinforcing is added on site, in an amount determined by the structure designer, and sized and verified with reference to the final section. The bond between the cast concrete and fitted beaming is ensured by the latticework, which protrudes from the first phase by at least 4 cm. An adequate limitation of the calculated tangential tensions avoids specific reinforcing needing to be cut.
Transverse ribbing can also be realized (perpendicular to the floor framework) by provide for the use of lowered hollow elements in cement-bonded wood fibre.
For plastering, see the section ‘Instructions for plastering’. Plaster mesh must be inserted to about half the thickness of the base coat, which must have a thickness as uniform as possible of 15mm. Furthermore, it takes 5-6 days between priming and finishing with slaked lime or plaster.

“ISOTEX” concrete wood slab for horizontal or inclined structures with high thermal-acoustic insulation, consisting of pre-assembled panels in wood-cement elements, dimensions cm 100 x (20-25-30-39), length up to mt. 6.5-7, with horizontal and vertical milling to eliminate thermal and acoustic bridges, complete with reinforcement and packaging.
The floor must be completed on site with additional reinforcement of the extrados, distribution network and completion casting with a collaborating slab.

Isotex floor panels have CE marking of joists in accordance with the European harmonized standard UNI EN 15037-1, certifications of resistance to fire (REI 240), thermal transmittance (DM 26/06/2015), acoustic tests according to the UNI EN ISO 140 regulations and UNI EN ISO 717, structural tests, certifications of materials conforming to the requirements for green building .

Certifications and CE marking

This constructive method satisfies, with a simple and fast laying operation, all the regulations concerning the seismic safety and the acoustic and thermal insulation (using a double insulation with the block wall having greater thickness towards the outside and exploiting at best the characteristics of the concrete used for filling).

Consequence of these characteristics are an excellent living comfort and an energy-efficient house: lower heating costs in winter and air conditioning in summer. By comparing the different building construction materials, the Isotex cement wood system is the most complete and economical method for the construction of load-bearing walls.

Visit the certified advantages section where the performances of eco-sustainable constructions realized with the Isotex building system and related certifications are show in detail. With the sole use of natural raw materials, the Isotex building system had been recognize, after passing the tests of biological material. Furthermore, constant company control and certification bodies guarantee the best and unchangeable quality.

Complete of CE marking of joists in compliance with the European harmonized standard UNI EN 15037-1, certifications of resistance to fire (REI 240), of thermal transmittance (DPR 59/09 and DM26 / 06/09), acoustic tests on site according to UNI EN ISO 140 and UNI EN ISO 717 standards, structural tests, certifications of materials that comply with the requirements for green building
