Correct laying of the first row

While laying the foundations, insertion of the vertical reinforcement should be taken into account with a width of 25 cm. Laying of the first row is carried out onto two layers of mortar positioned only corresponding to the walls of the blocks. A layer of mortar over the whole width of the block is to be avoided. At this point, position the corners with a plumb line and stretch the line; to put the blocks properly level, we recommend using the level.

Creation of a 44 cm corner

In corners made with 44 cm blocks, 31 cm PASS must be used, which are positioned on the 44 cm side of the UNI to bring the module to 25 cm; on the 50 cm side of the UNI, and after positioning the 31 cm PASS on the 44 cm side, continue with 50 cm blocks. For the subsequent row, the UNI block must be turned over and laid in the opposite direction to the row below it. Before positioning the UNI blocks, an aperture (similar to the size of the lunettes of normal blocks) must be created in the internal part of the block to allow for connection of the horizontal reinforcement and the concrete.

Creation of a 3/4-way node

To make three or four way nodes, proceed with laying the internal wall, arriving to the external wall, creating a lunette, at the point of contact with the external wall, that allows the lodging of the horizontal reinforcement between the various walls. Ties must absolutely be avoided (as is otherwise usual with traditional walls) because, with the ISOTEX system, connection between the three and four way nodes is made with the steel and concrete reinforcement

How to create lintels for doors and windows

Door and window lintels are made by cutting the SHOULDER blocks in the building site (from 30 to 38 cm) or by cutting the HALF BLOCK if 44 cm blocks. By doing so, thermal bridges are eliminated.

How to chase Isotex walls

To make chases for installations, it is advisable to use the chaser in 4-5 cm of wood cement. By adjusting the width and depth correctly, traces are obtained quickly and accurately.

Insulation of the floor curb

To insulate the floor curb, the FLOOR SLAB blocks are prepared to measure in the plant at the customer's request.

Floor curb insulation with panel

Wood cement panels can be used to insulate the floor curb, positioned on AUSG blocks. AUSG blocks are cut to size to reach floor installation height.

Make a floor with Isotex wood cement elements

The floors are calculated to measure. The assembly diagram is provided by the Isotex technical department. The floors have thicknesses of 20-25-30-39 cm. The floors surmount the blocks by 3-4 cm and are supplied with the element lowered to make a broken belt. The beam is always insulated with wood cement panels. Subsequently, the concrete is poured with relative vibration.
