Le Querce Bioclimatic Complex – Frascati (Rome)

The town of Frascati will host the first bioclimatic residential centre in the centre-south. The project will be carried out by Camers Invest, which won the prestigious Endesa 2009 award in Barcelona for promoting sustainable construction.
The town of Frascati will have the first bioclimatic residential centre in the centre-south following victory of the company Camers Invest by Emanuela Musetti, which won the prestigious Endesa 2009 award for the promotion of sustainable construction in Barcelona.
The bio-architecture project was presented in preview by Camers Invest, together with its partner Casa Clima, in the Hall of Mirrors at Palazzo Marconi, the seat of the Frascati city council, on 27th March and then awarded at the end of October in the “Sala Oval del Museu Nacional d’Hart de Catalunya”, during the presidential dinner, as part of the 2009 Barcelona Meeting Point. The first prize, awarded by Endesa, the Spanish energy company promoting sustainable housing, saw 25 finalists participating from all over Europe.
The designer Emanuela Musetti comments on the award received and the bio-sustainable project that will be built in the Colle Pizzuto area: “Our proposal, developed by its creator Aldo Testa and the designer Architect Massimo Sodini, was awarded for its excellent bioclimatic parameters, the greenery, the use of natural materials, the geothermal summer-winter heating system, the bioclimatic greenhouse, for management of installations with an advanced home automation system and other innovative aspects. The project will happen in Frascati, in the Colle Pizzuto area, where the Le Querce residence will be built, to include nine properties”.
The Mayor of Frascati, Stefano di Tommaso, also wanted to express satisfaction for the recognition and the goal achieved for Frascati: “I applaud the great result achieved by Emanuela Musetti, a brilliant entrepreneur, owner of Camers Invest, who received the Endesa prize in Barcelona. Such coveted recognition obtained by our compatriot is proof of how Frascati, a working city, dynamic and projected towards the future, expresses great talents which, as I have pointed out on many occasions, are committed to supporting and maintaining the name of Frascati around the world and they must be valued for this”.
