Cremona is home to a veterinary centre of excellence built in Isotex
The new “Vezzoni Veterinary Clinic” has just been inaugurated and boasts about 900 square metres and a team of 25 vets to care for pets, under the guidance of Dr. Aldo Vezzoni, an international specialist in the field of veterinary orthopaedics.
The new clinic, designed by Architect Massimo Terzi according to the most modern criteria of safety and environmental sustainability, offers all the services necessary for the care of four-legged friends: operating rooms to manage any type of surgery, in-patient wards, a laboratory, 2 radiology rooms and 5 out-patient rooms, with a team of 18 veterinary doctors and 4 veterinary technicians. There is also no shortage of meeting rooms, a library and accommodation reserved for veterinarians on night shifts or attending internship and Residency courses.
A structure of excellence that has chosen high-performance materials and innovative technologies for its construction to merit the name NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) or have an almost zero energy requirement. The Isotex building method has been selected for its very high thermal insulation performance, but also for its excellent acoustic insulation and for the guarantee of safety both from a seismic point of view and in terms of fire and explosion resistance.
