Again, regarding the safety of buildings and the people who live in them, Prof. Claudio Ceccoli (distinguished lecturer of the Department of Structural Engineering of the University of Bologna) in collaboration with Engineer Gilberto Dallavalle, demonstrated that, in case of an explosion, even in the absence of two angle walls of an intermediate floor, the building does not collapse, as the system of vertical and horizontal reinforcements contained in the hollow blocks, connected to the
respective floor slabss curbs, protects the integrity of the floors above.
