Mogol School of Music – Avigliano Umbro (Terni)
Immersed in the Umbrian countryside, it is home to Giulio Rapetti, professionally known as Mogol, but it is also the headquarters of CET, the school for young musical talents and also provides tourist accommodation.
A unique house built in the 90s, but a perfect reproduction of the old houses of the area. An immense estate on 120 hectares located in Avigliano Umbro, in the Province of Terni, in the heart of the greenest region of Italy, completely in tune with the surrounding landscape: here the stone, wood and glass walls of the house are harmoniously linked together. In the centre, a long avenue connects the two main areas of the house, from which the notes by “its artists” almost break the silence of the countryside.
A peaceful and serene atmosphere that Giulio Rapetti, in Mogol style, desperately wanted because he decided to build his house in locations where San Francesco lived. Mogol, an artist, songwriter, record producer, whose name has been linked and who shared success through his partnership with Lucio Battisti, leaving a legacy of songs and emotions that have marked our lives, lives and conceived CET (Centro Europeo Toscolano), a school established to train and enhance new professionals of pop music. We met him in this magical place to talk about his home and how he became what he is today.
