Referring to the safety of the buildings and the people who live into these, Prof. Claudio Ceccoli (who was an illustrious professor at the Department of Structural Engineering of the University of Bologna) in collaboration with Ing. Gilberto Dallavalle, showed that, in case of explosion, even if the two corner walls of an intermediate floor of a building are missing, the same does not collapse, since the system of vertical and horizontal reinforcement contained in the formwork blocks, connected to the respective curbs of the slabs, safeguards the integrity of the upper floors and lower than the one hit by the explosion.
Mineralized wood cement, is the result of a combination of two excellent building materials, wood and cement. The mineralization, allows the wood to lose its organic properties, making it inert and therefore unassailable by external agents, such as insects, pests or molds.

ISOTEX blocks are made of wood cement which offers very low resistance to vapor passing μ = 5.9. Through the ribs that connect the two walls of the formwork block, preferential lanes are formed in which the steam passes. In these ribs there is no concrete and insulation, which have resistance values to the passage of steam much higher than cement wood. This peculiarity added to the complete absence of thermal bridges of the structure and an adequate exchange of air, leads to no formation of condensation and mold.
